"Casino Evolution: Discovering New Molecules through Evolution" is a game designed to actively engage the audience. The participants will explore how the basic principles of evolution can be applied to discover new biological molecules or enhance existing ones. The game's goal is to assist in designing an improved version of the green fluorescent protein, an important tool in biology derived from jellyfish, which is visible in the dark. The game will demonstrate that how looking at many random mutation "through evolutionary lenses" can help to quickly find beneficial mutation and improve the brightness of the jellyfish protein.
