Appeals

Where can I find information if I want to make an appeal?

Appeals against Transcripts of Records/examination results can be submitted as soon as they have been officially issued. The legally valid document for this purpose is the Transcript of Records, which you receive twice a year in the student portal. Information on legal remedies can be found on the last page of the Transcript of Records. It states that appeals must be submitted in writing to the Office of Student Affairs  within 30 days of receiving the document. If your appeal is rejected, you have another 30 days to submit an appeal to the Appeals Commission of the Zurich Higher Education Institutions. By clicking on the link, you can out exactly where and how to submit an appeal. This page is in German only. Please note that this page is only available in German. Further instances are the Administrative Court and the Federal Supreme Court.
